Co-op
The Co-op Club at St. Angela Merici School complements the efforts of the school in striving toward the goal of Catholic education. Our organization supports the families, faculty and staff through a variety of activities and fundraisers.
As members of the Co-op, our parents are encouraged to attend general meetings and become involved with events throughout the year.

SAMA
St. Angela Merici Men’s Association arranges social gatherings and fundraisers each year, providing opportunities for men within the parish and dads from the school to support the goal of Catholic education. Recently, SAMA has provided funds for school physical plant upgrades, volunteered painting classrooms and annually organizes, works and supports the Catfish Festival.
We invite all dads and grandfathers from the school to become an active participant in SAMA.

Grandparents ClubThe Grandparents Club at St. Angela Merici School is an energetic, active group that supports our faculty, staff and students throughout the year. They volunteer on campus, provide treats on holidays to students and staff, participate in our Mardi Gras Parade and shine on stage annually at the Catfish Festival. Additionally, they enjoy fun events on campus, monthly get togethers and field trips to nearby attractions. We invite all grandparents to join this fun group!

School BoardThe Advisory School Board shall have as its primary concern the ministry of Catholic school education: the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of the students. The Advisory School Board operates under the guidance of the Pastor. In collaboration with the principal and in conformity with the policies of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, the Board shall concern itself with planning, marketing the school to the various communities, operational vitality of the school, and policy issues pertaining to the general excellence of Catholic education at St. Angela Merici School.
